Bulgarian Prista Oil has acquired Chevron Czech Republic.
The deal, which was for an undisclosed sum, forms part of the company's expansion into Central and Eastern Europe.
Prista has distributed Chevron motor oils across the region since 1998 and the deal includes the company continuing to develop its Texaco brand over the next five years.
Two years ago, in a larger deal, Prista bought Chevron’s stake in a motor oil plant managed in partnership with Uzbekistan’s national oil company Uzbekneftegaz.
