Malaysian road cars are benefitting from F1 expertise.
Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains is developing fuels and lubricants using shared technical expertise with Petronas in Italy and Kuala Lumpur.

The two companies are responding to the country's strong demand for friction reduction and fuel consumption efficiency.
“The fuel and lubricants in the new Petronas Primax 95 have the same components as the fuel for F1 but at different compositions,” said Petronas fuel technology manager for oil business Chan Ming Yat.
The Petronas-Mercedes F1 partnership began in May 2010 and the fuel was introduced at the end of the November 2010 testing.
