With tougher regulations being rolled out across the country, Kunlun Lubricants is rising to the challenge with a range of lubes geared towards the high-quality lubes market.
Tianrun is one of the first lines from a state-owned lubes producer to comprehensively meet API and ILSAC specificatoins for National V equivalent products.
Sustained investment, including funding for its state-of-the-art Lanzhou Kunlun Lubricant R&D facility, has earned the series a number of international accreditations.
The KR9-T lube meet the ILSAC and API anti-wear resistance of more than 70%, while lubrication and dispersion at high temperatures meets API standards of more than 30%.
In addition to the increased performance and durability, the SM grade lubes' phosophorous content has fallen from 0.12% to 0.08%, bringing signficant environmental benefits. Nonetheless, it is still a way off its target of 0.06%.
The KR9, KR8, KR7 and KR6-G lubes all meet their respective requirements for fully synthetic, high-performance engine oils.
