Chinese producer is preparing for National V with new gasoline and lubes products.
Kunlun Lubricants Co has developed a new fuel that will comply with the government's increasingly vigorous emissions regulations. The fuel emits significantly less phosphorous and other harmful pollutants and puts the Chinese producer ahead of schedule for the tough new standards.
Alongside fuel development, Kunlun's two R&D centres in Dalian and Lanzhou have also been producing lubes to comply with international standards. The company's Tianyuan, Tianwei, Tianhong and Tianrun motor oils fully meet API SM criteria, emitting less sulphur and extending the engine life according to the lubes maker.
Kunlun has also taken steps to strengthen ties with OEMs both at home and abroad. In addition to existing partnerships to develop HDDOs with national vehicle manufacturers - such as FAW, Dongfeng and Jinan Heavy Truck Co - the Chinese producer is also developing transformer oils with international companies like ABB and Siemens.
