Three of the company's off-highway engines have been given certification in the 130 to 560 kW (174 to 750 hp) power category.

The company’s engine lineup 130 kW (174 hp) and above has received U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Tier 4 Final, European Union (EU) Stage IV and California Air Resources Board (CARB) emissions certification which begins on 1st January.

The certification requires an 80% reduction in nitrogen oxides (NOx) from previous Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB requirements. Particulate matter (PM) levels remain the same as those mandated by Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB regulations.

Total fluid economy is important for the use of Selective Catalytic Reduction technology for Tier 4 Final/Stage IV engines and the company believes that it has established a benchmark in this area.

Emissions continue to be addressed in the company's lower power-rated engines (93 kW (125 hp) and above).
