JARN (Xi'an University of Petroleum Jarn Industrial Co) is strengthening its green credentials with a completely new range of lubricants for China's heavy duty truck market.
The Lv Qiang ("strong green") range will meet National III, IV and V emissions standards, making it highly sellable in China's increasingly regulated lubes market.
Diesel lubricants will bear the CJ-4 grade and will form part of its new GHT line, which will also include rear axle grease.
The Xi'an based company will use its "1,000 homes, 10,000 stores" brand strategy to build its presence across Yunnan province. JARN has claimed it is committed to producing unconvential lubricants products as part of a disruptive marketing campaign.
Yunnan is a strategically important location for truck companies as it routes Indian goods by way of neighbouring Tibet, while also connecting China to other Southeast Asian nation's through its borders with Vietnam and Laos.
