Using the HDAX® brand name, the range will bring all of the company's gas engine lubricants together using a clear numbering system. The three-tier range will be HDAX 3000, 5000 and 7000 with numerical sub-brands in each depending on specification.
The HDAX 7000 series will be the highest performance lubes, although currently only one product - 7200 - is set to be rolled out initially. Created for lean-burn and stoichiometric four strokes, it is designed to work under extreme loads and tempertures.
Other oils in the range are suitable for two and four-stroke engines and have a variety of ash content and viscosity levels. The consolidation programme began on 1st June 2012.
