Renewable products specialist Amyris is set to link up with U.S. Ventures to enter the industrial and auto lubes market.
The partnership will work together to produce, market and distribute finished products for the North American market, using Amyris' synthetic renewable base oils based from its farnesene isomer derivative, Biofene®.
U.S. Ventures will provide regional sales and marketing opportunities through its U.S. Lubricants operations using the Amyris No Compromise® bio-products brand which will eventually include a complete range of lubricants including hydraulic, turbine, gear and engine oils.
Amyris has been extremely active in recent months, establishing around five new partnerships and production agreements to commercialise its renewable products, including deals with sugar producers in Latin America and Europe
