A 92 year-old World War 2 veteran has flown a Spitfire.
It's 70 years since Air Transport Auxiliary (ATA) veteran Joy Lofthouse last flew a Spitfire but her enthusiasm shone through when she took to the air as a co-pilot, describing the experience as "lovely, it was perfect."
In WW2 the ATA did the job of service pilots - ferrying Royal Air Force and Royal Navy warplanes between factories, maintenance units and front-line squadrons.
