Leaders lubes make significant advances in technology

A Sichuan-based producer claims its new lube can extend oil change intervals by as much as 30 times.

Sichuan Leaders Petrochemical Corp, a small producer from China’s heartland, has focused its resources and product development on catering to an increasing demand for high quality, low carbon and energy saving lubricants.

The company, founded just four years ago, produces a range of petrol, diesel, heavy duty and dual function oils compatible with international standards.

Leader’s patented product line caters to both international and domestic demand for high-quality lubricants that reduce emissions and save energy. The company claims the its lubricants can increase fuel efficiency by around 2% to 15% and increase the oil change interval to 150,000km in most passenger cars.

The environmental claims made by the company are also impressive, as the new lubes are stated to cut hydrogen and nitrous oxide emissions by more than 30%. According to in-house testing, the PM count falls well below required government guidelines.

In addition to technical innovation, Leader’s also owes the efficacy of its lubricants to the high quality materials it uses to produce them. Using unique nano-technology materials, sulphur and nitrogen phosphorous, the company was able to generate a high viscosity index with low volatility.
