After signing a major deal with NBA China, Castrol releases a creative new advert

In a bid to capture a younger generation of Chinese consumers, Castrol has signed a deal to become the official partner of the NBA China. The campaign will align the common characteristics of both the NBA and Castrol with break-through innovation, pursuit of victory and superiority.
The campaign will also focus on one of Castrol's flagship lubricants, Magnatec, which is clearly branded alongside all NBA China signage.
To complement the increased visibitliy, Castrol has followed-on from its popular series of cowboy-themed segment with an ad that invites the audience to "listen to the sound of the engine", which is enacted by tiny talking dollops of lubricating oil advocating the advantages of using quality products.
The lubes producer is placing heavy emphasis on Magnatec's durability and anti-wear properties, highlighting the fact that 75% of engine damage comes from starting the car or overheating.
The advert explains how Magnatec's intelligent molecules help protect the engine during these difficult stages and includes eye-catching graphic simulations of how the lubricant cools an overworked engine.
Castrol will premier the advert in more than 60 cities nationwide during the NBA playoffs on April 19th.
